Kamila & Arnie were married on a gorgeously sunny day on the Brighton seafront, with a ceremony near the Brighton Bandstand and a fun-fair themed reception at Pangdean Old Barn with classic stripy carnival game stands built specially for their wedding. It was a relaxed, cheerful day full of warmth from the sun and from love; truly a kind, inviting, fun group of people and I am, as always, honoured to have been a part of it.
Kamila & Arnie’s was the first wedding I photographed after giving birth to my son Sebastian. Precisely two weeks after having had a C-section, to be exact. There were several people who thought I was crazy for going back to work so soon, but I really wanted to be there for my clients, and so there I was. I owe a great debt of thanks to Dade Freeman for helping me as primary shooter on this day, while I stepped back to second shooter position in order to allow for myself to rest when necessary without worrying about missing out on photography for any important moments of the wedding day.
