In this line of work, often you get couples who are naturally a bit shy and stiffen up so much when they first get in front of the camera they have to be reminded that it’s okay to hold hands, encouraged and directed to place a gentle hand on their partner’s shoulder or back, cheek, waist or anywhere. This is totally normal, and getting over that awkwardness is one of the biggest reasons for doing a pre-wedding shoot. Then again, sometimes you get couples who are so obviously crazy about one another, so connected and so focused on one another, they hardly seem to notice the camera at all, and then documenting their love feels like watching one of the most natural things in the world. Naghum & Dean are one of those couples. Thanks so much to Naghum & Dean for inviting me along to be a part of their wedding journey.
